I have successfully changed the code to get the Previous/Next buttons to do what I want them to and to read like I want them to. What I cannot figure out is how to change the color of those links. I have searched the CSS file and the _main.php file along with the _item.funcs.php file to no avail. Can anyone help me?

I'm sorry, I found it on my own in the .css file. I didn't recognize the hex code for pink [#ff00ff].
Putting red and blue together I kept thinking the color should have been purple.
