No you've misread what I've requested.
I want the ability to have Digg-like functionality internally
IE. users "digging" my blog posts for an internal top "digg" list.
I don't want any link to Digg.com.
I have searched the plugin directory and I can't find anything that does what I ask.
Thanks.

An example of what I'm looking for can be found on the PSP Updates site with their "Jumped Up" feature.

Mr. Brainz,
You might want to take a look at the Star Rating plugin. It's not exactly like Digg, but it's probably the closest thing we have right now. It's in use on the plugins site. The highest rated blog posts appear in a list in the sidebar.

OK Thanks for that.
I don't think I'm going to go with that though. It's a fairly simple feature that I think someone could code with ease.
I wish I knew PHP!

I was about to say "Post about it the Request a Plugin forum," then I looked up and saw that you already had. Could you describe in a little more detail what you would like to see? I'm not sure how we would divide up the Front page posts from the Digging area. The javascript and the vote count would be easy to do. Would the friends feature be important to you? These are the kind of details we need.

OK
So I want a button at the top of each post. It would be nice if the text could be customised because I want mine to say something specfic, but it could say "Jump it up". It would then have the total number of times it's been jumped up contained within the button. At the top of the page or on the sidebar I want a table with the "Top Ten Jumped up posts this week"
It's like the star rating system with only one choice and instead of an average it's taking the total.
As I said above, PSP Updates is running exactly the system I want.

Yep, the "digg-it" system is common on gaming blog-sites. I've seen others with it. Basically, the front page (or the allblog if you will) will display only the "top-diggified" posts. Then if you want to see all the posts, you must visit the individual blogs.
The way b2e is setup, this is possible, though we'll have to wait for a coder to do one.
To simplify:
BlogAll - http://domain.tld/index.php
Blog A - http://domain.tld/index.php/Blog_A/
Blog B - http://domain.tld/index.php/Blog_B/
Blog C - http://domain.tld/index.php/Blog_C/
What appears on BlogAll are the top-diggified posts of Blog A, Blog B, and Blog C.
If you visit Blog A, you will see all the posts in that blog regardless of their "diggified" status. Then in the sidebar, there's a shortlist (top 10 for example) of Blog A's top-diggified posts.
^_^
Hope that helps.
It's a great addition to b2e, as a plugin, if there'll be one available, I'll use it ;)
There are two very good DIGG plugins available here...

AstonishMe Digg Plugin ( which I can vouch for )
and
Balupton's Digg Plugin
