Hello. Thank you for your reply. This is a new blog and just getting started. Not very much content yet. Here is the link: http://www.reviewhosting.com/index.php/2007/04/29/webhostingimage
Thank you for your help.

On your App settings tab try un-checking "use extra path info" and see what happens. If it fixes the permalink problem then the issue is something about your server.

You were right.
I un-checked "Use extra-path info:" and it fixed the problem.
But, that option is better for SEO purposes. Any idea what tweak we need to make on the server in order to get it to work with "Use extra-path info:" enabled?

Any ideas? I appreciate your time.

Hey relax a bit okay? I was at work while you were deciding to bump your own post. Sheesh!
No: I have no idea what detail on servers is required to make the extra path thing work. I don't even know why the call it "extra path" when to me it should be called "pretty URLs" even though to some they're not pretty enough. Anyway I don't recall anyone ever saying what it takes to make that feature work. All I know is that it says "if your server supports it" and that mine does and that your symptom is one of the times where 'turn that thing off' is probably going to be the solution.
Sorry :(

Thanks anyway. I will do some more research and let you know what I find.

I asked our support guys and they said it is an easy fix. You just needed to add the appropriate .htaccess file to allow URLs of that type.

Oh snap! b2evolution ships with a file called "sample.htaccess" but I've never needed to remove the "sample" bit because it pretty URLs works for me straight out of the box.
I'll remember this next time someone has a similar problem.
Thanks!!!
