2. how exactly does it work?

Answers, since you asked.

1. Short answer: yes. Long answer: as many bloggers with as many blogs as you want, with everyone have the same or different permissions in any or all blogs. In other words your friend can be The Admin and have all the permissions everywhere and the daughter can have a blog with the ability to post as you describe. And yes visitors can comment on posts. You can also use a fairly wide range of plugins and stuff to keep spammy comments from showing up.

2. Pure F**k**g Magic. Seriously, it uses PHP and MySQL to do stuff when you click stuff. It then reads the entrails of a sacrificial chicken while chanting incantations in a long-dead language, and a web page gets made.

3. Yes. I mean, if you want a multilingual multiblog multiblogger blog engine then yeah there is.

4.

thanks for the response..

yeah, the daughter will definitely become the admin for this one..

here is another question..

1. is it possible that on the b2evolution blogging system, it will appear that there will be no membership at all? or there will be no place for someone to become a member..

2. can we customize this blogging system where we can delete some features? and the only features that the visitors will see are the ones that i want...

3. if we can customize this system, how do we do it?

4. if not, would you recommend anything else..

thanks..

1. Yes, you can disable user registration within the control panel.
2. Yes, features can be turned off and customized via the control panel. Although their is really no disadvantage keeping features that you don't need, from a user experience to performance point of view...
3. Visually, you can get skins. Functionality, you can get plugins. Both are avaliable from here http://b2evolution.net/downloads/extend.html or you can make your own (requires knowledge of php)
4. nothing else comes to mind :/
