When posting takes long and goes blank

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hello,
I have this problem with b2evo 2.2 alpha:
when creating a new post after pressing save! the page takes long time to run something (even to 5 min) and then the page just goes blank.
I've maximized the memory_limit in php.ini to 16MB, there are no plugins installed at all, even though keeps failin.
But its funny because it actually saves the post, I can see it if I check the blog.
But I dont like this behavior.
What else could I do??

I can't tell from here what goes wrong with the setup, but you can try this one. In backofficw -> Blog settings -> Advanced turn off both "Ping b2evolution.net" and "Ping-O-Matic". You should do this for every blog.

Maybe some timeout on either b2evolution.net or ping-o-matic.
Can you look in the Apache/PHP error log what gets logged there?
