[2.x] Site Validation Help

My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Yesterday http://wow-factor.com/index.php validated xhtml strict
Today it doesn't and I'm stumped.

I changed it back to transitional but it still fails and I can't see the forest for the trees.

I had not edited any core files before this began but cannot find the needle in the haystack.

Hi John,

The validator got it wrong, not you. :lol:
The only thing is on line 182. You seem to use the wikilink plugin and use it with spaces. Try without spaces and with %20 or + or _ instead.

I'll have a look Afwas..... it's got me beat how the validator would suddenly start doing this.

The DOCTYPe seems ok as well!!

Do Validators "get it wrong" often?

Solved, white spaces had crept into _html_header.php and index.main.php
