[1.10.x] Can we modify/add contents to the login page?

My b2evolution Version: 1.10.x

I installed b2e on a site I'm working on and I'm not programmer. I've read thru most of the contents of the manual and I've had a few confusions since the version on the manual and the current version I'm using isn't the same.

First problem I've encountered is on the login page, when i click on REGISTER, it doesn't go to a reg form? What is wrong with this?

Another problem or maybe a question is, will I be able to modify the login page? Like add contents or move the login box?

If you can't register that's probably because the server knows through a cookie that you are the admin and so that you are registered already. You can try with a different browser and / or on a different computer (don't login as admin before you try.)

Theoretically you can change the login screen. Is deep down in the files though and because much of the surrounding code is about the login process itself, you'd not feel happy changing anything. So go that way only if you really have a need to do it.
