New Install - blog only showing header & not body of tex

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Just installed 2.2 as new install and no problem installing. Access to admin not a problem either. But when i go to view the blog it does not show the posts, only the skin header and post title. I don't get any errors, just a lack of the body of the posts. This is true of a new blog i created and the ones that came with the install. I've tried a few of the supplied skins as well ... same problem with them all. One of them actually showed me the categories (and some other stuff), but still not the actual content of the posts. Kinda odd.

Any idea why this should be ?

I did disable some plugins ater reading that it may be memory limits. But no effect.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks, Afwas. I did do what I could from that page earlier ... except un-commenting the line in _basic_config.php. That line was not there. So this time I simply added it. And yes, looks like i now have the text showing ... and the calendar etc. So the problem might well be solved.
