Ok, here's another weird problem:
my blog is on IIS, in a subdomain.
When I first installed it, the 'extra-path' feature worked perfectly, i.e. I could use "/index.php/something".
Today, something happened and I had to remove the subdomain and add it again. Normally, this shouldn't have affected normal operation.
However, now the extra-path doesn't work anymore - if I try /index.php/something" I get a 404.
Now, I well realize B2Evo runs better on a LAMP environment, but I'm stuck on IIS. Do you have any idea of what I could do?

Followup: My Host fucked up, apparently they changed the settings for PHP on the subdomain... arrrgghh! I discovered by chance and made them fix it.
Thanks for posting the solution. I don think any one of us would have thought of this. :>
