Hi Johnj. Could you clarify a bit for us what you mean by "formatting"? Are you using the basic quicktags toolbar, or something advanced like TinyMCE?

I am not familiar with the adsense plugin so I'm curious why it would be mentioned in a post about formatting. Does adsense go into a post in such a way that you can style it? The only time I used adsense it was a javascript snippet that I put in my code (not in a post) and it made a block of ads styled the way I picked at google's interface. Oh wait no there were options I could set via the code I inserted, so is that what you are trying to accomplish with formatting?

Mostly what toolbar are you using for formatting that is causing the problem?
