Blog Broken Big Time

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

I've been trying to upgrade now for two days. The latest was to ver. 2.4.0 (hey it wasn't working anyway, so what the heck.)

Now the blog does not post to the web site. When in the back office I can see the previous posts are there. Then I click on "view blog" and I get the message that http://localhost/blog/index.php?blog=2 cannot be displayed.

Also, the skins don't show up. I just have a red X for the images.

Web site is www.suncountrygems.com and folder is /blog (right after the domain name.)

Look at the base url in /conf/_basic_config.php on line 97 and change it to

$baseurl = 'http://www.suncountrygems.com/blog/';

Just making that change did nothing.

I tried to re-install, but that didn't help either.

(By the way, I started a new topic, because now I've got two problems.)

Skins and graphics don't show up AND blog does not post.

It appears that media folder permissions were my problem.

The web host was able to assist with getting those right, and it's working now.
