This user logs in every day. I don't see a IP address in their profile
4 edb Feb 26, 2008 04:38
I'm assuming you're admin on this installation. ID #1 - correct? The IP the person signed up from is part of their profile, but why not just delete them and be done with it?

because that won't block their access to the blog, just the "members only" posts. While that is preferable. I need to block that user completely with an .htaccess file

He will show up in the log files of your server.

I would like to know if it's possible to have a log history of all registered users.
I have a bog with access reserved only to a staff. I have created all the users and sent the password to everybody, so IP info is not trustable.
How can I know if some user has logged and when?
10 sam2kb Oct 05, 2008 21:53
Check the Stats > Sessions tab ;)
11 stjep Oct 05, 2008 21:54
I don't have "session" tab :-(
12 sam2kb Oct 05, 2008 21:57
What b2evo version are you using? Do you have permissions to view stats?
13 stjep Oct 05, 2008 21:59
1.8.2
I'm the unique Admin!
14 sam2kb Oct 05, 2008 22:03
You should update your blog to the current stable version 2.4.5
15 stjep Oct 05, 2008 22:06
Yeah I know ... but for now I have very few time
So you confirm me that for the version I'm running there is no way to check the user logs?
16 sam2kb Oct 05, 2008 22:11
I can't tell you for sure because there's no 1.8 demo and I'm not going to install it on my server.
If you don't have time or don't want to upgrade you skin you can upgrade blog to the old stable version b2evo 1.10.3 since it has Sessions tab in Stats.
Hi towt.
Do you mean a user or a visitor? A user to me means a registered blogger, so (a) you already have their IP in their profile and (b) you just turn off permissions. If you are thinking of a visitor then any time they leave a comment their IP shows up in the comment when seen in the back office. And the email you get as well, assuming you wrote what they comment on.
Hope it helps.
