I am wondering if it is possible to edit links within the toolbar buttons (upper left of the page, specifically the "b2evolution" button. -Is it possible to make changes, or add/remove links within this menu? -I am interested in removing the links to b2evolution forums etc.

IN the CSS file named basic.css you will find a block of css headed as Evo Toolbar. That will help you change the look of the toolbar
In the "skins" folder you will find _toolbar.inc.php
Remember to keep a backup of the original
