I recently upgraded to the latest 2.4 and edited a new skin for a new look. http://www.gitware.net.au
The Blog seems to be OK however when testing the menu links etc a click on archives http://www.giftware.net.au/blogs/?disp=arcdir lest the archives OK but provides a URL that doesnt work. Any ideas on how to correct this problem?
I should see if this is in the manual or not because it is (sadly) somewhat common and therefore has been answered a couple of times already.
On your Blog settings -> pick a blog -> URLs tab, select all the options that show a sample with something like "?this=that&foo=bar" instead of the options that make things look like folders (this/that/foo/bar/). I suspect that your server is not capable of handling "pretty" URLs is why.
I do not know what it takes to make a server handle pretty URLs. I imagine this information is also available somewhere, but since my servers do pretty URLs the requirements are not something I've focused on.
