My b2evolution Version: 2.4.1

I am not sure if it is because of the background being created by the 1*1024 picture or what it is.... but I am having trouble creating a border for the columns... or creating a background color specific to a column.

Also... can anyone with any knowledge of this tell me why there is a narrow column and wide column division situation? I made them both the same size so that the credits would fall to the bottom rather than off to the left... am I on the right track to believe that the wide column is the size of the column as a whole, but that the narrow column is the actual size of your post text? Just trying to figure this out.

It's a nice clean skin...but I would like to add some definition between the columns.... either with a border or by changing the background on one or more of the columns. Right now it looks too much like a skin you would find on blogspot.
