Regardless of what skin I use in the back office, following my upgrade to the stable 2.4.2 version, the following code appears at the bottom of the screen. I have triple checked the files on the server against the downloaded 2.4.2 release, so I'm at a loss why there would be this apparent error. I am praying it is not some kind of corruption of the database. :(

Does anyone know what this means, or how I would go about debugging it?

I don't know if this is related, but the blogs do not seem responsive to changes, e.g. changes of skins, or an attempt to put the blog into "single post mode" (if that still exists) by setting 1 post per page and post-by-post for archiving.
