My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Using 2.42 version we had the subscription option on and ran into a problem that the system would send email notifications whenever a post was made whether it was made by the admin with a date for the future or if it was a user who's post had not been approved by a moderator yet.

What needs to be done to have subscribers be notified only when a post or comment is visible publically in the blog?
