Changing email "from" address on the Registration

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hello -
Does anyone know of a way to change the "from" email on the registration confirmation email? It currently is b2evo@mydomain.com. I want to change the b2evo to something else. Please let me know if anyone knows a way.

Hi mojado, welcome to the forums.

Try to change the instance name in conf/_advanced.php around line 160 it should change the "from" name

$instance_name = 'b2evo';


to

$instance_name = 'my_cool_name';

No spaces there!
