Update Problem 1.10.2 to 2.4.2

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hi,

my host offers an automatic update from 1.10.2 to 2.4.2, which worked pretty well but access to the blog brings the following error

Error message:
An unexpected error has occured!

If this error persits, please report it to the administrator.

Additional information about this error:
Requested Skin does not exist

If have no clue how to fix that :(

Hi Buckball,

Welcome to the forums.

The skin you are using s a 1.10 skin. That one is not compatible with 2.4.
Solution: log into the Backoffice through admin.php and change the skin in Blog settings -> skins.

Did a clean install and after that the update installer worked well.
