How to display number of comments?

My b2evolution Version: 2.4

Wondering how I would configure miami blue to display the number of comments next to the "leave comment" link?

So it'd look something like

Leave comment (3)

Any ideas? I must be missing something as my blog doesn't have this feature.

But it has no 2.x version as of speaking. : [
