My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Just installed. I think I got all the permissions correct and everything because it didn't give any errors after I changed them.

The problem is that now I am having all sorts of problems accessing the blog page. When I go to the page, sometimes it doesn't load. I have had to totally reset cookies to get it to load again. But then as soon as I login, if I hit "home" it takes me to a completely blank page and nothing loads.

I get the same thing in firefox and safari (running a mac).

I get this very strange thing in safari:

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

My apologies if this has been addressed many times. I browsed the forums but didn't see any subject headings that seemed to indicate a similar problem.
