What's this error?

The skin is PixelGreen, renamed for educational purposes. ;)
It is correct that this file doesn't exist. It's mentioned in /inc/skins/_skin.funcs.php on line 307, checking for it's existence and generating the error. In B2evo 2.4.2 it's line 293, identical code.

I created an empty file. That solves it, but that's not the real fix. I just don't understand why this happens and why this only happens to me.
