Is it possible to have on the main page a clickable part (maybe with image) of the original long post.
So users can click on it and be redirected or expand the original post?

We use the 'More' tag for that. You are able to customize the text for the link it generates and I'm sure you can make an image out of that link. If you want me to look into that in more detail please let me know.
