It seemed the issue was with the SQL server username I used.
However when one is setting up for the first time you have no control of the actual syntax sent to the server. I entered [username] and B2 generated [username]@server + [IP]. Whilst I really don't need to know now, where would one override the format of that action?

To another issue:

I am trying to create new albums in the photoblog. How is that done?
And how does opne access the new categories created if they are indeed the albums? The manual only talks about uploading images to posts.
