My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Any help here would be appreciated. I've stupidly put too many images into one folder on my blog and get the message

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 12582912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4864 bytes) in /home/gee10000/public_html/inc/_core/_misc.funcs.php(208) : runtime-created function on line 1

Ok - so I then went and started deleting images but it seems to no avail. I don't want to lose those images - and I don't know if its the total byte count of that folder causing the error or database size?

Any way I can up that limit ?

I've since started another folder
