My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hi folks.

I've been reading forum topics on this for various older versions.
I'm stuck with the warning:

You haven't defined a source file for this blog!

Now I've checked the tweaks, file permissions, checked a few config files for extra whitespace lines, created dummy php and html files in the blog root and checked their permissions - but still can't get it to go.

I currently have two new installations running. One on a current Ubuntu box, the other under xampp on my mac. Can't get to work on either.
Ubuntu (which uses the .htaccess) asks me about leaving the page without saving then gives the error.
xampp (without .htaccess) just gives me the error, so guessing I can cross that off...

Any ideas from the brains trust?

Thanks

You need to fill in the source that you'd normally hit to view the blog ( index.php for default blog )

Thanks for quick reply.

That makes a lot of sense. I tried it with both index.php and a_stub.php and with/without extensions but still no joy.

Still have dummy html file with correct permissions waiting.
Currently using index.php and test.html both in the same directory.

Any other ideas?

I've been trying to do it all in one step.

Instead of:
1. entering names for source and Destination files
2. Clicking Save, waiting for page to update
3. Then Generating the content.

Thanks
