My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Hi everybody,

I think is question is rather stupid but I just don't get it. :oops: I want to quote code like this:

<code>
<vpxd>
  <ResourceManager>
    <maxCostPerHost>8</maxCostPerHost>
  </ResourceManager>
</vpxd>
</code>

What happens? Only "8" is shown in the blog because b2evo tries to interpret my quoted code like <vpxd> but ignores it because it can't deal with it. My idea of the "code quote" was that it ignores code-specific symbols.

How do I quote something like this?

Thank you very much and regards,

Michael

Uh, now I'm confused. I tried to quote with "code" and with "block", both did not get a proper result. I used the "code" button as you suggested but that does not work. That's why I asked for help.

Or am I getting something totally wrong here?

What version of b2 do you have installed?
It's an included plugin called "code_highlight_plugin".

In your Admin, goto Global Settings, then Plugins Install, ckeck down the list of plugins and see if Code Highlight is in fact enabled

I use 2.4.5. I only found a plugin named "BB Code" which allows BB style arguments. But here the problem remains, because I think it is basically just a converter from BB style to b2evo style formatting.

I do not have a "code_highlight_plugin" included in my version.

admin > global settings > plugin install > install new > code highlighter plugin ;)
