Have you checked the "drop down" list of your file directory.
Also, there is an "upload" button, next to the "browse" button.

Well, i am thinking that even if the upload button worked (right now it goes to a " internet page not available" page, i need first to have the appropriate fiile available for uploading.

The dropdown gives me choices of User Roots, Blog Roots and Skins Roots.
Something there i need to change? I am trying to get files, images specifically, from my harddrive into this file manager for subsequent upload.... I am, as i say, pretty green at all of this.. :-/

I upgraded to 2.4.6, but my browse function was already defunct before the upgrade.
