Set default widgets for all new blogs

Hi there,

Is it possible to set up a default set of widgets which would be used by all new blogs?

I'm trying to create a unified look and feel for a corporate site. At the moment, it seems like we have to build each blog's set of widgets from scratch.

Nearly what I was looking for. It will do for now, but ideally I was hoping to be able to setup a standard set of widgets that automatically deploy into each new blog.

The only way to do that is to hack the core I'm afraid, but EdB's plugin is the next best thing ... although that may change in 3.0 ;)
