My b2evolution Version: 2.x

During the process of building my blog I had set, at some stage, /blog/notices.php as the home page. Before I officially launched I changed this to /blog/index.php. /notices.php was deleted.

Ever since, has been about 6 months now, when trying to go to /index.php from an external source/link it redirects to /notices.php and I get a 404 error. Also redirects when simply going to www.mydomain.com/blog/.

On the 404 page I can change /notices.php to /index.php in my address bar which then takes me to the right page.

I cannot seem to fix this. Please help.
