I just use a FREEHTML widget on the sideboard and add all the links I want to display.

That took a while, but it would seem that you'd need to edit:

inc/comments/model/_comment.funcs.php around about line 189

Would be good if an expert confirmed it though, as all blogs would show the same thing as that's a common piece of code across b2evo. Haven't found it elsewhere though [disclaimer: I have not read every file...]
