My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Been busy for a while so haven't stuck my head through the door for a while. Anyway, I'm not sure whether this is the right place for this question or not. I just read this article at sitepoint and wondered whether b2e would be suitable for this treament - has someone already done it perhaps?: Roll Your Own Twitter Clone.

Thats cool that you can create an off-twitter micro blog

But im wondering how long this fad wil last. especialy now that the commercial world is getting its hands on it.....

Interesting idea. I once saw a long and complicated recipe which allowed you to make your very own Hellman's mayonnaise at home. That authentic taste, etc. The same question occurred to me then. Why not just use the original?

it's easy for you to say, you can turn b2 into anything you want.. you can even make a dog shaped baloon out of it..it's not like everyone gets super coding powers with a few bottles of beer
