My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

hello,

i'm new here, although i've used b2evolution for my blog for a while...

i'm trying to get better rankings for my blog, but i've run into a problem...i downloaded b2evo from my web host through simple scripts...when i signed up for it i wasn't thinking about rankings, so i just named it www.MySiteName/blogs...but now i'd like it to have its own independent url so that i can get it ranked on yahoo, google, etc.

do i have to completely delete this installation of b2evolution or is there a way to change the url without doing that? i don't want to lose all of my blog entries...
