That's odd. I see the top post at that link has a "read more" link in it, so did this start working for you? Or is the problem something that happened after you switched hosting plans?

Anyway both !M and smilies are javascript things, so this would be a javascript issue with your computer/browser. Certainly shouldn't be related to how you have your URL settings set ... but hey who can say for sure until a solution is found? So what OS and browser are you using?

:slamming head against keyboard: It took. For whatever reason my browser locked up (non-b2 related site) and I didn't get back to my blog. The only thing I messed with was the blogs url settings.

OS is XP with all the updates, and Firefox. I'm doing everything from my laptop, everything else is still in a box some >:XX place. I almost grabbed my Debian box to troubleshoot this... maybe I should have.

If this comes up again, I'll look at Java stuff and see what I can find.

Interesting. I'll keep that in mind. I know in the mist of everything something locked up and I had to shut everything down. As I think about it I posted to my blog after I restarted everything. :oops: So the problem did go away after I restarted firefox.
