critical error on upload

My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

When I try to copy style.css to /media/blogs/b, I get a critical error - 553 Rename/move failure: No such file or directory. I have never seen such a thing before - what is this about?

If I do a chmod 777, I get a 550 - operation not permitted.

Check the owner of your files ... usually available in your webspaces control panel, if you can't find it then contact your host for assistance.

Thanks for that - but do you mean that the owner of the files in b2evolution has to be the same as the name of the 'owner' of the server?
