My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Hi! I recently upgraded from 1.10 to 2.4.7. Install went fine but when i log in either as admin or as a user, the evobar content displays as a list not as a toolbar. Is that normal?

Try changing your admin akin to chicago

Tried that. It's as though no style is being applied at all in both IE and Firefox. Selecting a different style results in no change to a "User". For "admin", the background color will change on a style sheet switch but there is no "toolbar" appearing. I didn't even know i was supposed to see a toolbar until i looked at the screenshots. All i have is an unordered list of links.

Altogether, the "Dashboard" and blog entry page looks terrible to me. The blog entry page isn't as nice as the one from my previous vesrion. I have to scroll down to find the post entry box and all i get is a 3"x3" box to type in an entry.

So far, I am not really impressed with the upgrade from 1.10 to 2.4.7 and am not finding much help yet. I've never really had any problems before switching to b2Evo from MT back in 2005.

Have you uploaded/replaced all files, maybe the related CSS file hasn't been loaded.

I wondered if these import statements might be causing the problem? These are in the admin_skins

@import url("../../../../rsc/css/basic.css"); /* Import basic styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/img.css"); /* Import standard image styles */ ....etc

Should i replace the "../../....." with the http url?

No... but just check that all the linked to CSS files are in fact loaded.. if not check the content of your rsc folder ->css folder
chicago CSS links to and loads...

@import url("../../../../rsc/css/basic.css");            /* Import basic styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/img.css");              /* Import standard image styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/results.css");          /* Import results/tables styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/blog_elements.css");    /* Import standard blog elements styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/forms.css");            /* Import default form styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/comments.css");         /* Import default comment styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/fileman.css");          /* Import filemanager styles */
@import url("../../../../rsc/css/admin.global.css");     /* Import basic admin styles */

Those files appear to be located in blog/rsc/css (i named the blog root's directory "blog"). is that correct?

Specifically,
"http://www.theinformationauditor.com/blog/rsc/css/basic.css" and so on.

This install is awful. I can't even get a post to work in either the Simple or Expert mode. When i select any of the tags when i am editing, nothing happens.

Here are screen shots. I would put them in a post but as i said it's not working well enough.

I am using
firefox 3.09
IE 6.0.29

I could try to re-install i guess. But all the files look as if they're all uploaded and in place.
