[2.x] Twitterlution and latin characters

My b2evolution Version: 2.x

Twitterlution, a fantastic plugin, doesn't recogniza latin (Spanish) characters. When finding one, it leaves it out.

Example:

Boliburguesía is twitted as Boliburguesa

Is there a solution to this?
