Can't say it'll work in 3.whatever and in truth I wish it was "find this replace with that" instead of the "+7-5+confusion-clarity" format so maybe I could follow it, but I'm pretty sure http://forums.b2evolution.net/viewtopic.php?p=93760#93760 covers what you need to do.
