He uses IE, and he believes the java is enabled.
I'm not sure what the "etc" is supposed to cover.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What version of IE? ( note: java isn't javascript, but that's by the by )

The client enabled JavaScript without seeing the buttons at http://www.shoproute30.com/b2evolution/blogs/blog4.php.
I am unable to get him to check his version of IE (although given that he works with Windows 98, I have to believe it's not 8 or 7).
He is able to log in by fishing around for the invisble button based on how his cursor changes when he hovers there. He seems to be content with that.
