My b2evolution Version: 3.3.1

I have a very annoying problem that if i start a post by clicking on the b2evo bookmarklet, none of the editing quick tag buttons (ins, del, strike, etc.) work.

I press them but no markup code appears in the editing window. I have had this problem for several versions and I can't find any resolution in the forum so help would be appreciated.

Running 3.3.1, installed via Fantastico. Accessing the site using Firefox 3.5.5. on OSX 10.5
