My b2evolution Version: Not Entered

Before trashing my site; for upgrading when all BLOG folders and files are in the root, are installation instructions the same?

The instructions have always been the same for me and I've had no issues. I'm not on 3.x yet, but I can't imagine this has changed

Yes installation instructions are the same. All files and blogs in the root are the most common scenario.
