You should also delete the installation directory /public_html/blog/install/ or at least set its permissions to 750

Thanks so much for the quick reply. However, I'm still a little lost here. Let's say I'm starting from the beginning and only have the blog.mysite.com set up with b2evolution.
Should I create a directory in my files (via the ftp) or do it through a new install of b2evolution?
Then do I do what you recommended above?
Sorry, I'm a novice when it comes to these languages, and wingin' this on my own so trying to get this right.
Thanks again for your help.

You don't need to make another install of b2evolution.
You should keep the files and database even if you want to start anew, once you get it working it's very easy to reset b2evolution to initial state. Don't delete the installer if you want to reset b2evo in future, just change permissions.
Okay so that didn't work. Here's another approach. How can I copy a page from the blog I have to another blog on b2 evolution? Maybe I can do this in a different format, and leave the first blog the same.
Thanks again,
RuC
Welcome to the forums.
FTP to your server, and edit the file /public_html/blog/conf/_basic_config.php. Set $baseurl = 'http://www.just5lbsamonth.com/blogs/';
Then rename the directory /public_html/blog to /public_html/blogs (you can't use directory name "blog")
You may also need to change permissions for new directory /public_html/blogs/ to 755
