How did you post images?
Did you click "Save and start attaching files" > "add/link files" > Upload or browse the file > Go to -With selected files: (select Insert IMG/Link > and click GO.)

You might wanna try that. Or did you click the icon "link this file"

Tired both ways. The select Insert IMG/Link > and click GO shows th image in my dashboard (above the menu bar!?) and not in the post. I used the link method and it only shows the link - no image.

The 'link file' show the image in the 'image and attachments' window but it doesn't appear with the preview. Did a save to be sure. But no image. :?:

Can you try another image?

I tried another one. Same problem. the image is showing up above the dashboard menu bar.

As you can see the images are where they don't belong. Don't even know how they got there.

Check media directory permissions. Try uploading images/files from file manager.
Check server error logs, there must be something interesting.

Changed the media file to 777 from 755

Error Log. Don't know what it means.
