My b2evolution Version: 3.3.3

Hi. My blog is set to www.mddu.com/blog1.php as set in my dashboard under Relative to Base URL. I want to set it to index. I think I could just click the radio button that says Default Blog in index.php but I'm a little scared to do that as I really don't want to break the blog. I'm getting ready to redo my entire site and need to change that first.

I do have an index.php file (I did that before I got the blog) that can be removed if I need to do that first. I just don't want to screw it up and want to make sure it's not going to break the blog or screw something up in the database.
