hi,
i'm trying to use b2evo on my PC running IIS, mysql. i'm a newbie to setting up b2evo, so would appreciate some help.
is apache required? there doesn't seem to be a step-by-step instruction page for fresh installation? do i need to create a mysql database manually.
i could run the install.php but just like one of the posts in the forum, i arrive at a blank page after filling in the details of the database, url, password etc.

You need a php-sever and mysql.
I installed yellowtip (you can find it on : http://www.yellowtip.com/products/yellowtipws.php) on my XP-pc
There is a version of b2evo included, so that would make it far more easy to upgrade to the newest version (because all the mysql-stuff is done allready for you) .. don't forget to do the upgrade to benefit from all those nice new thing b2e has been involved in.
