[3.3.3] Cannot link to post's URLs from home page

My b2evolution Version: 3.3.3

Hi there --
BACKGROUND:
I changed my blog's home directory from a subdomain into a subfolder. At first i had trouble getting the link to work but realized the changes i was making were not taking because of incorrect permissions. Now the home page shows up nicely.
PROBLEM:
When you click a "READ MORE" link or the Headline to read an article, "ERROR: 404 - Your request was not found"
QUESTION:
How can i make the read more links work?

Were you using clean URLs before you changed from a subdomain to a subfolder?

Because that acts like you haven't made all the necessary modifications to your .htaccess file for clean urls to work properly.
