[[4.0.5]] Global Settings Not Saved

My b2evolution Version: [4.0.5]

I wonder if any of you can solve this issue for me - which only came to light when I tried to set up blog by email.

In the admin menu Global Settings -> Global Features any of my settings are not retained.

So if I click any boxes for blog by email or tick the boxes for cross posting these changes aren't retained.

When I hit the "update" button at the bottom of the page I am taken to the front page of my site, rather than the menu refreshing with my options saved.

Any ideas? I'm assuming it is some sort of permissions error but can't understand what it might be, given the other pages in Global Settings seem to work ok.

Ah thanks it was a mod security issue. I disabled it via htaccess and could then save the options on the menu before switching the security back on.
