My b2evolution Version: Latest

Hi guys! I am totally new to b2e and I had a few questions about skins. 1st of all I fell in love with b2e when I found out a friend of mine that runs his own christian radio station started using one of you alls skins. So I figured if he was going to support you all, I mize well too. I like the selection of skins you all got. And the blog must be really nice seeing how my friend used one of you alls skins. Not sure what kind of benefits WordPress gives but I really don't feel comfortable with using their stuff. I am leaning more towards you alls system.

But anyways my question is, am I allow to take an original skin from your website, and change the back grounds around in the skin and give it a entire new look but same layout seeing I am not much on html or JavaScript and submit it? I got everything I need to design perfectly nice back grounds for new skins. Just not sure how to script my own skin, I figured using a pre-made would be better than nothing.
