There is nothing to keep you from using your own RSS feed to do this on the landing page. There are plenty of free code out to include an rss feed in a page and that is all you need to do here. The neat thing is that when a visitor clicks on the particular article in your rss feed, it will take them over to that post; you may want to set it up so that links don't open a new window but uses the same window.
