[4.1.x] Importing database information from 3.3.3 to 4.1.2

My b2evolution Version: 4.1.x

Shifting from 3.3.3 to 4.1.2

Ok so I followed instructions backed up the databases and deleted all the b2evolution files

I now have a system which works but as yet has no blogs on it. If I try using PHPadmin to import the old databases there are structure conflicts that prevent it.

Going back to upgrade from previous version ends up with various errors and in any case does not ask where the old version is stored

I assume I have gone wrong somewhere, but where and how do I get the data back into the blogs?

OK - sorted
Had to drop all tables in the DB created by 4.1.2, import the old tables and then update.

Obviously when it says delete all the b2evolution files before updating it does not mean the database table as well, which is what I took it ot mean

How would the app know about your previous install then... ;)
